Attorney Conor P. Degnan
Conor earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Crime Law & Justice with a Legal Studies option from the Pennsylvania State University in 2013. Conor pursued his innate passion for the criminal justice system by attending the Wake Forest School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2017. After passing the bar exam, Conor started his legal career in Wilmington, NC serving as an Assistant District Attorney in New Hanover and Pender Counties. During his time at the DA’s Office, Conor represented the State of North Carolina in criminal matters ranging from traffic tickets to first degree murder.
Conor now utilizes the knowledge and skills gained working as a prosecutor to his clients’ advantage. He will skillfully exploit weaknesses in the State’s case because he knows how they think. The best way to prepare a defense is to get in the mind of the offense. Conor looks forward to serving your needs and defending your constitutional rights.
When he is not zealously advocating for his clients in court, Conor enjoys cooking, watching college football, and taking his dog for walks in downtown Wilmington.
